Erra Portland reviews
Forgotten in the nose bleeds
Erra was fantastic... when the sound wasn’t distorted. The show's visuals were impressive... except for the parts obstructed by sound and lighting gear.
It felt like the arena wasn’t suited for the show's setup. The view was obstructed by equipment covering most of the stage and screens. 85% of the performance was out of sight. This issue persisted throughout the upper levels.
I have attended numerous shows at Golden 1. The sound quality varied between shows, some clear and others garbled. It appears challenging to achieve optimal sound at this venue, and this show fell short.
Despite the challenges, Erra remains exceptional and worth seeing again. Perhaps not at Golden 1, though.
